Gallaga: Video game doldrums end with strong spring releases
“Infamous Second Son” is one of the biggest releases for the PlayStation 4 game console this spring.

By Omar L. Gallaga

In this week's Digital Savant column, I take a look at a few new titles that have made spring suddenly very busy for video gamers.

Games including "Titanfall," "Infamous: Second Son" and a pair of addictive apps, "2048" and "Threes!" are on the list, as are some games that have yet to be released, but are on the horizon.

I've been keeping busy with "Titanfall," "South Park: The Stick of Truth," the aforementioned mobile app games and have been trying to find time to catch up with the latest installments of "The Walking Dead: Season Two" and "The Wolf Among Us."

You can read the column in Tuesday's print edition or on MyStatesman.com. Don't have a subscription? You can also get a 99-cent day pass and catch up on all the recent columns.

What games are you playing now or looking forward to? Let us know in the comments.
