Thursday's Pick: Dining & Listening with Suzanna Choffel

By Lucia Benavides

Nestled inside an old home in the Clarksville neighborhood, Wineflo Osteria is an Italian eatery featuring moderately priced fresh food. The craftsman style bungalow in the historic Old West Austin was built in 1922, and includes a 300-year-old live oak tree that shades their terraced patio. There's a Listening Room downstairs, which features small intimate acoustic performance, where people are encouraged - as the name implies - to listen (talking is not tolerated). This Thursday, Suzanna Choffel will be playing as the restaurant kicks off the season's Dining and Listening events.

For each of these events, which will run until Oct. 23, Wineflo's chef will create a three course seasonal fare menu. They include hand-crafted cocktails and wine imported from Italy. After this Thursday's dinner, Choffel will tell her story through her music, engaging attendees in an experience delicious for both their palate and their soul.

Show is $20, and dinner $30 per guest. The price includes appetizer, main course and dessert.
