Update: This giveaway is now closed. Thanks for entering!

On Thursday, at the Mohawk, the latest installment of From the Mind of Adi (Anand) presents the harmonic power punk of A Giant Dog. With the dual vocal talents of Andrew Cashen and Sabrina Ellis and brutal beats courtesy of Orville Neeley, the band aims to demolish your troubles with two-minute blasts of fury. The band shares a bill with self-proclaimed “psychic taco” rockers Hundred Visions and Trustees.

In addition to great music from local bands, the event features custom hot dogs from Frank inspired by each band.  A Giant Dog is a one pound pork sausage link on a hoagie with caramelized onions, hot kraut, currywurst sauce and South Carolina mustard bbq sauce.  The Hundog is a 100% beef Vienna dog on a kolache roll with chili, fresh chopped tomatoes, fresh chopped cilantro, diced onions, queso fresco and fritos. The event is $7. 9 p.m. doors. 912 Red River St.

If you'd like to be our guest at the show on Thursday, email us the answer to this Austin history trivia question before noon on Wednesday, July 30:

Before the spot at 409 Colorado was repurposed as hot dog heaven by the fine folks from Frank, it housed an upscale diner known for their Bloody Mary brunches. What was it called?
