Modest Mouse
Modest Mouse

It’s out with the Death bands and in with the Northwest bands at Fun Fun Fun Fest. Last week’s report of Death Grips’ disbanding was followed by Death Cab for Cutie’s fest cancellation because of “an unforeseen and unavoidable scheduling conflict, leaving the FFF crew with two holes to fill.

Stepping up are two bands from the state of Washington. Modest Mouse will play Saturday, Nov. 8, on the Orange Stage in the spot vacated by Death Cab. On Sunday, Nov. 9, fest alumni Murder City Devils will fill the Black Stage slot previously allotted to Death Grips. (Because if you can’t have Death, you might as well get Murder.)

The full Fun Fun Fun Fest schedule, listed by day and stage, is at www.funfunfunfest.com. Weekend passes, single day tickets and “Ultimate Smooth Passes” are still available.
