CANTON, Ohio (AP) — What's recognized by Guinness World Records as the longest walk-through house of horrors takes up to an hour to tour in northeast Ohio.
The Factory of Terror is in an old aluminum foundry in Canton. Visitors go on a chilling journey that the Guinness website says measures nearly 3,800 feet, or close to three-quarters of a mile.
The Halloween attraction was officially measured in August according to Guinness rules.
Multiple media outlets report that the Factory of Terror took the world's-longest title away from the Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth, Texas.
The owner of the factory building tells The Plain Dealer of Cleveland that he'll keep lengthening the tour to keep hold on the crown.
More than 20,000 people visited the attraction during last year's season.
