Depardieu to Renounce French Citizenship, Winehouse's Death Re-Investigated
Gerard Depardieu has caused a controversy in his native France. The actor, who has come under fire for buying a home in Belgium to avoid an increase in French taxes, said that he was leaving because "success" was now being punished in France. In a letter to a French newspaper, Depardieu wrote that he would hand over his passport and social security card. France is currently trying to impose a 75-percent supertax on income over 1 million euros.
