It's Super Bowl Sunday, which also means it's time for one of the cutest TV events of the year: Puppy Bowl.
You can check out the canine lineup - all the dogs come from shelters - on Animal Planet's website, animal.discovery.com.
We like the looks of chihuahua/terrier mix Leroy Brown; he seems to have the heart of a champion. In addition to the water bowl cam, kiss cam and a blimp piloted by hamsters, this year's event features a bird tweeting the action and a pig pep squad. And the kitten halftime show probably won't have as much choreography as Madonna's, but it will rate higher on the cute meter.
Puppy Bowl kicks off at 2 p.m. Sunday on Animal Planet.
"Super Bowl XLVI" kicks off at 5 p.m. Sunday on NBC, although the action starts earlier in the day with a special edition of "The Today Show" and some sort of red carpet show.
The big game will be followed by the premiere of season two of "The Voice" (after Sunday night the talent competition show moves to its regular 7 p.m. Monday time slot).
