HOW AND WHAT TO PAY
There are a number of ways passengers can pay Capital Metro fares. Buses are equipped with fare boxes that will accept exact change, fare tickets or dollar bills. Please note, however, that fare boxes do not make change and drivers do not have access to fare boxes.

Ticket Books, available at all Austin-area HEB, Fiesta, Randall's and Albertson's grocery stores, and the Capital Metro information Center at 106 East 8th St., are an excellent way to save on the cost of one-way fares. Each Ticket Book features 20 tickets valued at 50 cents each, for only $5- a 50% savings. Passengers who ride Special Transist Service may also enjoy the convenience of using a Ticket Book. Ten 60cent tickets are just $3- a one-half price savings.

Monthly passes, available at all locations which sell Ticket Books, allow you to ride as often as you like, anytime day or night, weekdays or weekends.

The daily one-way adult fare for Express Park & Ride routes is $1 with students paying 50 cents.

STS Pass Qualified mobility-impaired riders using Special Transit Service may purchase a monthly Special Transit Service Pass for only $15. The one-way fare is 60 cents. No discounted or waived fares are offered.

Commuter Vanpool Passes are available for passengers of RIDEFINDER'S vanpools which operate exclusively within the service area. Please call 477-RIDE for full details about this $25 monthly pass.
