The people in this Schlitterbahn ad are having a really, really good time.
Granted, they were 25 years younger at the time. The 1992 TV ad features a host of park goers clearly having “the hottest, coolest time in Texas.”
But how could you not? Schlitterbahn 25 years ago looks to have just as opportunities to tube, slide and accidentally swallow way too much water as the modern day park.
The ad spot seems to heavily push the Surfenburg portion of the park, because “burg is the word.” One park visitor demonstrates a good alternative to a boogie board is your own body.
