Look at this house.
It’s a “fixer upper,” according to a Longview, Texas real estate company (and not the cute Chip-and-Joanna kind). It’s definitely the kind of house you’d see featured in a horror film, where a family moves in unexpectedly and before they realize what they’ve done, their kids are making friends with ghost children and doors slam shut on their own.
H5 Auction and Realty posted about the Longview house on its Facebook page earlier this month, saying it has “endless potential.”
Well, according to the Houston Chronicle, the house recently sold at auction. That’s great news and all, other than the fact that something really creepy exists inside the kitchen.
Yeah, those cabinets say “666” and “GET OUT.”
The home’s listing agent told the Chronicle the homeowner “put the message on there to scare people from breaking in” and agents chose to leave the messages there while taking photos because it’s “great marketing.”
Sure, OK. That’s exactly what a ghost would say.
