"Love in the Wild" 8 p.m., NBC: Singles search for their one true love in a well full of snakes in the second-season kickoff.

"Take Me Out" 7 p.m., Fox: The network included ibuprofen in the press kit for this new, George Lopez-hosted dating game show. You've been warned.

"Saving Hope" 8 p.m., NBC: Remember "A Gifted Man," the canceled CBS drama from last fall about the surgeon whose deceased ex henpecked him from the great beyond? This show is like that one, except with a coma. It still might be D.O.A.

Friday

"Chris Isaak Live! Beyond the Sun" 7 p.m., PBS: Actually, he's just beyond the Willie Nelson statue, performing from Austin's ACL Live.

"Comedy Bang Bang" 9 p.m., IFC: Scott Aukerman's popular podcast makes the transition to television in this premiere episode with Zach Galifianakis.

"Bunk" 9:30 p.m., IFC: Three comedians I've never heard of compete in wild stunts on this new game show I won't be watching.

"How to Be a Gentleman" 7:30 p.m., CBS: I don't know whether or not this is the last episode of this awful sitcom's burn-off, but a guy can dream.

"Tony Awards" 7 p.m., CBS: Dr. Horrible himself, Neil Patrick Harris, gets to exercise his considerable hosting muscles in this celebration of the theater's best.

"True Blood" 8 p.m., HBO: All kinds of fang-tastic and dangerous blasts from the past return in tonight's Season 5 premiere.
