Love is in the air — on the air, too (and no, I’m not talking about President Barack Obama and Congress). “Community” throws us a Halloween episode and print journalism refuses to die. Here’s what to watch and what to avoid on television this week:

Monday: “Lost” 7 p.m., G4: Yeah, it’s a rerun, but it’s that one episode that upset viewers by providing very few answers and introducing a lot of new questions. And the answers that were revealed were dumb and made no sense. And Jack did something frustratingly stubborn and stupid.

“Bizarre Foods America” 8 p.m., Travel: Andrew Zimmern enjoys peanut butter and foie gras in our nation’s capital on tonight’s season premiere. Mmmm … peanut butter and foie gras. When did the capital move to Graceland?

“Bang Goes The Theory” 9:20 p.m., BBC America: In the premiere of this “Mythbusters” ripoff with an annoyingly odd start time, an attempt is made to cook an egg with a newspaper. Ha! Try doing that with an iPad.

“Inside Comedy” 10 p.m., Showtime: In the most brilliant pairing ever, comics Louis C.K. and Bob Newhart guest on tonight’s second-season premiere.

Tuesday: “State of the Union Address” 8 p.m., all major broadcast and many cable networks: Article II, Section 3 of the U.S. Constitution mandates the yearly event, in which the president “shall from time to time give to Congress information of the State of the Union and recommend to their Consideration such measures as he shall judge necessary and expedient.” In this case, “from time to time” means “when most Americans would rather be watching ‘NCIS: Los Angeles’ or ‘New Girl.’”

Wednesday: “Modern Family” 7 p.m., ABC: In the continuation of a hilarious Valentine’s Day tradition, romance is once again fraught with peril for Phil and Claire’s lusty aliases, Clive and Juliana.

“Survivor” 7 p.m. CBS: Super-fans go up against “Survivor” veterans in the premiere of Season 26. By the way, I have no idea where the Caramoan Islands are, but they sound delicious.

“Southland” 9 p.m., TNT: Season 5 locks and loads tonight.

Thursday: “Zero Hour” 7 p.m., ABC: Imagine those goofy “National Treasure” movies sans action and the manic energy of Nicolas Cage and you’ll have some idea of this new series’ disappointing execution.

“Community” 7 p.m., NBC: One advantage to the sitcom’s delayed start? A Halloween episode on Valentine’s Day! That’s so “Community.”

Friday: “Shark Tank” 8 p.m., ABC: A pair of brothers from Austin pitch a sushi restaurant. Maybe they can talk the sharks into spotting them a couple of fins.

“CSI: New York” 8 p.m., CBS: Josh Groban croons during one of three Valentine’s-related mysteries, one of which has got to be why Josh Groban is singing on “CSI.” On a possibly related note, spellcheck wants me to change Groban to “groan.” Just sayin’.

Saturday: “Stories from the Road to Freedom” 9 p.m., History: This new documentary chronicles the history of American black culture.

“Saturday Night Live” 10:30 p.m., NBC: “Django Unchained” actor Christoph Waltz hosts with musical guest Josh Groban. Just kidding — it’s Alabama Shakes.

Sunday: “Amazing Race” 7 p.m., CBS: 22 contestants head to Bora Bora in the Season 22 premiere.

“Masterpiece Classic” 8 p.m., PBS: Aw, it’s over already. “Downton Abbey” closes the door on its third season.
