Liz Lemon and Jack Donaghy move on, “The Americans” move in and, wait — I do believe some sort of popular sporting contest takes place. Here’s what to watch and what to avoid on television this week:
Monday: “Dallas” 8 p.m., TNT: If only they could harness all the energy they waste fighting over Ewing Energies in tonight’s Season 2 premiere.
Tuesday: “Raising Hope” 7 p.m., Fox: You’ve got to hand it to the writers of the poor-man’s “My Name Is Earl” — having Jimmy and the gang hire the “Modern Family” camera crew to film their wedding is kind of brilliant.
“Southie Rules” 9 p.m., A&E: The cable network gives the “Jersey Shore” treatment to Bostonians, where an extended family battles gentrification from outsiders they call — wait for it … “yuppies.”
Wednesday: “Super Bowl’s Greatest Commercials 2013” 7 p.m., CBS: Here it is — the one time a year you get to fast-forward through the entire program.
“The Americans” 9 p.m., FX: Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star as Soviet spies posing as an American suburban couple in this well-made, Reagan-era period drama.
Thursday: “30 Rock” 7 p.m., NBC: Groundbreaking at its start and only having slightly overstayed its welcome, the TGS gang bids farewell in the series’ hourlong final episode.
“Do No Harm” 9 p.m., NBC: A doctor discovers he’s built up a tolerance to a drug that’s kept him from switching to his vicious alter-ego in the premiere of this stylish, modern-day Jekyll and Hyde update.
Friday: “NAACP Image Awards” 7 p.m., NBC: The Association presents awards for outstanding achievement by people of color in film, television, music and literature.
Saturday: “American Ninja Warrior” 7 p.m., NBC: This special presents Season 4 highlight footage. And when a ninja says “footage,” it’s probably going to wind up in your face-age.
“NFL Honors” 8 p.m., CBS: Alec Baldwin hosts the presentation of accolades for the year’s best plays and players, including the “Walter Payton Man of the Year” award.
Sunday: “Super Bowl Kickoff Show” 5 p.m., CBS: Watch the network milk the event by dedicating half an hour to the coin toss and the National Anthem. I believe the coin toss is to determine whether the anthem is sung live or lip-synced.
“Super Bowl XLVII” 5:25 p.m., CBS: It’s Harbaugh vs. Harbaugh as the Ravens take on the 49ers.
“Masterpiece Classic” 8 p.m., PBS: I can’t wait to see the huge Super Bowl ratings drop-off at 7:59 p.m. when everybody switches over to episode 5 of Downton Abbey.
