Broadcast presents include two pickers picking, one winner dancing and a “Downton” on PBS. Here’s what to watch and what to avoid on television this week:

Monday: “Bones” 7 p.m., Fox: Booth searches for suspects in an open-mike comedy crowd. Funny — usually it’s the comics who kill.

“American Pickers” 8 p.m., History: The pickers find antique spurs in Idaho and I discover a petrified Cheeto in between my couch cushions.

Tuesday: “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” 7 p.m., ABC: I think my own heart grows three sizes every time I watch this, but it might just be indigestion.

“Dancing With the Stars” 8 p.m., ABC: Season 15’s winner is tapped. Get it?

“Ben and Kate” 7:30 p.m., Fox: Uh-oh. Kate’s boyfriend has a bad case of “guitar face,” which could lead to him playing solo.

“Rizzoli & Isles” 8 p.m, TNT: The show returns for its midseason run.

“Leverage” 9 p.m., TNT: The gang goes after a big-box retailer in tonight’s midseason kickoff.

Wednesday: “Charlie Brown Christmas” 7 p.m., ABC: Everyone’s favorite blockhead launches a counterattack on the commercial war on Christmas. Man, I’ve been watching too much O’Reilly.

“Christmas in Rockefeller Center” 7 p.m., NBC: Time to light up the big tree. I hope they used those strings where they stay lit if one of the bulbs goes out.

“SNL Christmas” 8 p.m., NBC: Enjoy the best bits from 38 years of holiday sketches and songs. It’s two hours long, so most of them should be funny.

“The Hour” 8 p.m., BBC America: Season 2 premieres.

Thursday: “Downton Abbey Revisited” 9:30 p.m., PBS: Host Angela Lansbury looks forward and back at the popular British drama in advance of Season 3.

Friday: “Lightmares” 7 p.m., HGTV: Can two homeowners deck their halls without decking each other?

“A Fairly Odd Christmas” 7 p.m., Nick: Timmy Turner’s generous wish granting causes problems for Santa in this live-action film based on the Nickelodeon cartoon.

Saturday: “It’s A Wonderful Life” 7 p.m., NBC: Jimmy Stewart and Donna Reed star in the holiday classic. Every time you watch it, a Nielsen exec gets his wings.

Sunday: “Sugar Dome” 7 p.m., Food: This sweets-based reality competition is so much better than my idea — “Mad Max: Beyond Sugar Dome.”

NOTE: The first sentence of this story has been corrected to reflect that "Downton Abbey" airs on PBS, not BBC.
