• Communities in Schools of Central Texas will host its 17th annual Food for Thought fundraiser on Nov. 29 at Circuit of Americas, the facility that just hosted Austin’s first Formula One race. This will be the first charity event at the newly opened track and it will help raise money for the nonprofit that provides dropout-prevention services to more than 6,000 students in 54 area schools.
