New Zealand’s teen sensation Lorde spent the better part of 2013 smoking international pop charts with her smash hit “Royals.” Then in September she dropped the highly lauded full-length debut “Pure Heroine,” which landed on many critics’ year-end lists. She’ll be storming the U.S. next spring, kicking her tour off with a March 3 date at Austin Music Hall.
For those of us pining for a South by Southwest appearance, hopes have been dashed. Apart from a possible March 13 opening between gigs in NYC and Boston, Lorde’s calendar is tightly booked during the 2014 fest.
The complete list of shows with tickets on sale at 10 a.m. Friday:
• Wild Feathers at Stubb’s (Jan. 22)
