Moved: Bud’s Poboys, the food trailer specializing in Cajun sandwiches, gumbo and ettoufee, has moved to the Mueller Trailer Eats food court at 4209 Airport Blvd, next to the Browning Hanger. Other trailers at the site include Short Bus Subs, Mmmpanadas, Elixir Coffee, Me Llamo Taco and Fresh Off the Truck.

- Stiles Switch BBQ & Brew is celebrating its first anniversary with 12 days of smoked meats. Each day through Dec. 23 (except Monday), the restaurant at 6610 N. Lamar Blvd. will offer an off-the-menu smoked meat, such as cornish game hens, pork chop on a stick, brisket meatloaf, brisket tamales and prime rib. Max’s Wine Dive, 207 San Jacinto Blvd. (904-0111), is getting in the holiday spirit with an ugly sweater party all day Friday. Guests wearing a sweater “that puts the ‘err’ in ‘merry’ ” will get a free dessert or small plate.
Zed’s, the restaurant at 501 Canyon Ridge Drive (339-9337), is hosting a benefit concert at 6 p.m. Friday with musician Scott Helmer. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Austin Pets Alive, and for each $5 donation to the nonprofit, guests can get a copy of Helmer’s album, “Wake Me When It’s Over.”

Bastrop Rotary Club is hosting its second annual Men Who Cook fundraiser on Saturday, Dec. 29, at the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa, 575 Hyatt Lost Pines Road. More than 35 men from the community, including Camilo Chavez, Chris Duggan, Mike Morphew, Tom Scott, Michael Candelario and State Rep. Tim Kleinschmidt, will serve appetizers and other small bites. In addition to food, guests can bid on both a live and silent auction.
