The man behind the YouTube sensation video "Honey Badger Don't Care" has parlayed his online success into a book deal, and he's coming to Austin to talk about the crazy world of animals and sign copies of his book today.

Just like the video, the book version of "Honey Badger Don't Care" is a decidedly adult affair, mainly because the author known only as Randall gets down and dirty with his commentary. As you may know, he also has a rather flamboyant take on nature, with such lines as "this no-nonsense rudy-pants has no known predators!" But in the book he goes way beyond the badger, which he considers to be a "dash of cute and a whole lotta nasty!"

He supplements the badger commentary with analyses of the aye-aye, which he describes as the result of a sexual encounter between Don Knotts and a bat; the Tasmanian devil, "a friend of Satan"; the emperor tamarin, which bears an "uncanny resemblance" to Kaiser Wilhelm II; the pink fairy armadillo, which loves "to stay up all night just snacking on ants, digging dirt, and sexting random animals"; the bug-eyed tarsier, which looks like it overdosed on Ecstasy; the opossum, "terrifying"; the solenodon, "grumpypants"; the wombat, "nutsycakes"; the American bullfrog, "hefty and scary"; and the sloth, which is way too slow for Randall's tastes.

Amid the sarcasm and humor, Randall, of course, has a message of conversation. Many of his weird animals are endangered, and he slips in pleas for help amid the outrageous comments.
