Open: Bar Mirabeau. Two years after losing his much-loved Restaurant Jezebel to a fire, Parind Vora is bringing back the Jezebel concept and adding another at 800 W. Sixth St. (His East Austin bistro, Braise, is still open.) Bar Mirabeau, named after Mirabeau Buonaparte Lamar, the second president of the Republic of Texas, is now open, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week in the new Cirrus Logic. Chef Bill McCrory, formerly of Taste Select Wines and Taverna, is in charge of the menu, and Michelle Antonishek will craft the pastries. Open: Bourdeaux’s Prime Steakhouse at 3991 U.S. 290 in Dripping Springs, the second location of the longtime fine dining establishment of the same name in Kyle. Owner Larson Wilkes says that the menu will be similar to the restaurant in Kyle but, because the kitchen space is larger, he’ll be able to add dishes that aren’t on the menu at the original location. 829-4959, bordeauxs.net.
