Song of the Year

1. Ray Wylie Hubbard, "(Screw You) We're From Texas"

That old redneck mother, Hubbard, sweeps the second of the top two AMP categories, joining fellow vet Joe Ely and relative newcomers Kacy Crowley and J Church and the unavoidable Los Lonely Boys.

2. Los Lonely Boys, "Heaven"
3. Kacy Crowley, "Kind of Perfect"
3. Joe Ely, "All That You Need"
3. J Church, "The Satanists Convene"

Los Lonely Boys
Best Austin Live Act

1. Los Lonely Boys

The high-octane Garza brothers may have seemed like obvious shoo-ins for this category, but they eceived surprisingly strong competition from fellow Latino rockers Del Castillo and fellow 2003 AMP favorite Hubbard.

2. Del Castillo
3. Ray Wylie Hubbard
4. Terri Hendrix
5. Joe Ely

Best New Austin Act

1. Los Lonely Boys

Though the trio that won this category may be the big Austin music story of the year, note that the win, place and show acts are all scions or siblings of famous Texans.

2. Patricia Vonne
3. Colin Gilmore
4. We Will Cut You
4. Rockland Eagles
4. Milton Mapes
4. Bonny Holmes
