Hollywood story but with good writing

"So the story itself is a little predictable, but that's always been OK in my book as long as the writers are doing a good job. War, Inc. has some of the hackneyed characters--heart-of-stone, they-killed-my-wife male character; cutesy-poo, smarty-pants, heart-of-gold female reporter; and spoiled rock-star kid who learns a valuable lesson. Yeah, and there's love 'n' stuff. But these things are acceptable because they don't have the overlay of crappy, contrived writing that sounds like my 6th-grade journal. War, Inc.'s worth eight bucks."
