One medium-size fruit (like an apple, orange or banana).
1 cup of raw, cooked, canned or frozen fruits or vegetables. 1 cup (6 ounces) of 100 percent fruit or vegetable juice.
1 cup cut-up fruit.
1 cup cooked or canned legumes (beans and peas).
1 cup of raw, leafy vegetables (like lettuce or spinach).

How many servings should I eat each day? 5 -- Minimum recommendation, with at least two servings of fruit and three of vegetables. Children ages 2 to 6 should eat five servings daily; so should inactive women and older adults.
7 -- recommended for children older than 6, active women and teen girls.
9 -- Active teen boys and men.
