Is an NBA team by any other logo just as fire?
That’s the question the San Antonio Spurs will answer when the team officially debuts a new logo it reportedly filed several trademark applications for with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office earlier this week.
According to the San Antonio Express news, the Spurs are considering a secondary logo with the letters “SA” emblazoned in the middle of a black and white basketball.
The trademark applications include use on a number of merchandise items, like shower curtains and garden gnomes. While the applications are “live,” they have not yet been assigned to an examiner, the Express News reports.
What do you think of the logo? Will your garden soon feature a new Spurs gnome?
