Jackie Venson and Ray Prim live tapings at One-2-One Bar. It’s been a big year for both of these local artists. Venson got some prime national gigs opening tour dates for Austin guitar great Gary Clark Jr., and she played to a big crowd in Zilker Park as part of KGSR’s Blues on the Green summer series. Prim released a live record in the spring and followed it this fall with “To Whom It May Concern,” which earned him Austin360 Artist of the Month honors in September. Both artists will be recording their shows on this night in one of the city’s best-sounding rooms. Venson plays at 8:30 p.m. Dec. 27, with Prim at 7 p.m.; each show carries a separate $10 admission. 1509 S. Lamar Blvd. one2onebar.com. — Peter Blackstock
