AA-S Best Bet - Take A Chance On Me: The ABBA Sing-Along!:
If you know all of the words to songs such as "Fernando," "Dancing Queen" and "Knowing Me, Knowing You," then tonight's "Take a Chance On Me" ABBA Sing-Along might be right up your alley. Coming just in time for the upcoming theatrical release of "Mamma Mia!," the smash Broadway hit based on ABBA songs, "Take a Chance On Me" features interviews with local ABBA enthusiasts, obscure performance footage and, according to the folks at the Alamo Ritz, "every single ABBA song you could ever hope for." ABBA, which was made up of Swedish power couples Agnetha Fältskog, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Anni-Frid Lyngstad (the four's first initials spell out ABBA), formed through a friendship between musicians Ulvaeus and Andersson and hit it big after winning a Swedish Eurovision Song Contest in 1974. By 1983, both couples were divorced and ABBA broke up, leaving a legacy of Euro-pop treasures in its wake.
— Shannon McGarvey

From the promoter:
With the upcoming release of MAMMA MIA! as a feature film, we realized it was high time we brought back our ABBA Sing-Along for a reprise show or two. Built around the idea of interviewing people like the reporter does in ABBA: THE MOVIE, this show features filmed interviews with Austinites about their favorite ABBA moments as well as every single ABBA song you could ever hope for, with footage culled from movies, concerts and music videos to bring you into a state of orgiastic ecstasy at these two married couples who wrote a lot of million dollar pop songs about breaking up, then decided to get divorces.
