Stop into any of the 80 Twin Liquors locations through Sept. 9 to contribute to a good cause. The Austin-based liquor store is taking donations in amounts of $1, $3, $5 or more that will go toward Hurricane Harvey relief efforts ongoing along the Texas Gulf Coast.
Not only that — Twin Liquors will match up to $20,000 of these donations.
“We launched a matching campaign after the 2015 Memorial Day floods and saw an overwhelming customer response. It is humbling to see our customers and neighborhoods take care of each other,” David Jabour, president of Twin Liquors, said in a news release announcing the donation campaign.
Twin Liquors will give all of the money earmarked for Harvey relief to the American Red Cross, which is spearheading much of the recovery process following the horrific hurricane and subsequent widespread flooding in Texas towns and cities like Victoria, Houston and Beaumont.
