Fran Hunter for Bastrop Advertiser. Make your way through an obstacle course at the Big Bounce, which promises a lot of inflatable fun for the whole family when it makes three stops in Texas in the fall.

You don’t have to be a kid to partake in the wonders of what might well be the largest bounce house ever, and you also won’t just be bouncing in it.

This traveling inflatable haven called the Big Bounce — 10,000 sq. ft. and a full 32 feet high — has DJs playing music, basketball hoops, an inflatable obstacle course for “all you budding ninja warriors,” a giant slide that leads into a foam pit, even an inflatable forest and jungle animals, according to the Big Bounce website.

The Big Bounce was the creation of two Scottish entrepreneurs, Cameron Craig and Grahme Furgeson, who had it built in Cleveland, Ohio, and are now taking it on a 15-stop tour across the U.S, with three of those stops in Texas. Austin isn’t one of them, but Houston and San Antonio are. The Big Bounce will be in Houston from Oct. 27-29 and in San Antonio the weekend before that, from Oct. 20-22.

That’s an easy day trip to plan. Although tickets aren’t on sale for these dates yet, you can sign up to be notified for ticket updates on the website at thebigbounceamerica.com/tickets.
