If you’re looking to live out your “Fixer Upper” dreams, you’re doing it in the wrong city.

A recent list by personal finance site WalletHub ranked Austin as the 65th best place in the U.S. to flip a house. The list looked at factors like purchasing price, percentage of home flips, local salaries and average remodeling costs in ranking the 150 largest cities in the country.

Texas was well represented on the list, with five cities ranked among the top 50. A Texas city even nabbed the No. 1 spot. Hold onto your hammers -- El Paso, Texas is reportedly the best place to flip a home. The city had a high quality of life ranking and extremely low renovation and remodeling costs.

Think you’re better off in Waco? You could be, but because the city is not one of the country’s 150 largest it was not included in the ranking.

You’re just going to have to take Chip and Joanna’s word for it. But, if “Fixer Upper” has taught you nothing, at least it’s taught you you’re usually better off doing just that.
