Out today…
“Showcase Presents: The War that Time Forgot Vol. 1” (DC, $16.99) - Published between 1960 and 1968, “The War That Time Forgot” chronicled tales of the American armed forces (presumably lost) fighting dinosaurs on a remote Pacific Island during World War II.
So, we have dinosaurs, planes, dinosaurs eating planes, guys firing M-1s at dinosaurs, guys running from dinosaurs. Seriously, can you think of an 8-year old who could possibly resist that combination?
Why they don’t make comic books like this anymore is completely beyond me.
