Talkin’ ‘Driv4r’ … or whatever …
Atari’s making its fourth “Driver” game … titled “Parallel Lines” a sort of an apology for the third entry in the series, last year’s “Driv3r.”
1up.com takes a look and talks with the production manager, who admits “there were issues” with “Driv3r,” which is as close as you’re ever going to get a company man to admit a game stunk.
Why isn’t anyone surprised there’s going to be a “Driver 4” after the previous, glitch-filled entry was so bad it was even ridiculed in the last “Grand Theft Auto” game? Have we become “Deuce Bigalowed” to the point that we expect lame follow-ups to movies and games that were atrocious in the first place?
It might very well be a better game, but how about a totally new game, Atari?
