Look for Austinite on ‘The Price is Right’
C’mon down, Sue Loyd. You’re the next contestant on “The Price is Right.”

Loyd, a 77-year-old Austinite, is one of the hopefuls on Thursday’s edition of the beloved CBS game show.
She ended up at a taping earlier this year while on a group trip to Los Angeles.
“I had an extra day and was tired of the people and the traffic,” Loyd said, “so I figured I’d go to ‘The Price is Right.’
“Up popped my name and I thought, ‘Oh, Lord, what have I gotten myself into?’”
Did she win anything? Loyd can’t say, so you’ll have to tune in.
“The Price is Right” airs weekdays at 10 a.m. on KEYE-TV, Channel 5 on Time Warner Cable.
