KUT’s John Aielli thanks listeners for their support
“My name is John Aielli and I’m still alive … and kicking.”
That’s the popular 90.5 KUT-FM host’s message to listeners in a newly released video produced by the city’s NPR station.
Aielli, 65, suffered a heart attack Jan. 4 and was off the air nearly two weeks while he recuperated at an area hospital.
He returned to work Monday, helming “Eklektikos,” which runs from 9 a.m. to noon weekdays.
