Emmy noms for KXAN, KVUE
Austin’s top two TV stations each snagged multiple Emmy noms over the weekend.

KXAN’s Erin Cargile
KXAN and KVUE are both in the running for best morning/daytime and evening newscast honors.
They’re also up against each other in the team coverage category. KXAN’s coverage of the Oak Hill wildfire caught the eye of judges, while KVUE was cited for its coverage of a gunman who opened fire on the University of Texas campus.
