This week’s TV picks
Monday:
“The Closer” 8 p.m., TNT: Brenda tries to pin the rap on a rap star’s shooter while wrapping up the final season, which begins tonight.
“Eureka” 7 p.m., Syfy: Season 4.5 (that’s so “Eureka!”) begins with unexpected trouble, of course.
“Warehouse 13” 8 p.m., Syfy: Season 3 begins with a new agent who’s sort of a human lie detector.
“Alphas” 9 p.m., Syfy: Part “Heroes,” part “X-Men,” part one of a new series.
“Man vs. Wild” 8 p.m., Discovery: Since guest star Jake Gyllenhall is eating whatever Bear eats, this might as well be called “Man vs. Food.”
“Rizzoli & Isles” 9 p.m., TNT: Season 2 kicks off tonight.
“Anthony Bourdain: No Reservations” 8 p.m., Travel: The intrepid traveler heads to Cuba with a baseball historian.
Tuesday:
“101 Ways to Leave a Game Show” 8 p.m., ABC: Have you tried that door over there? No, seriously
it leads right outside and I just saw Guy Fieri walk through it.
Wednesday:
“Damages” 9 p.m., DirecTV: Season 4 — airing only on the satellite provider’s own channel 239 — takes on the expansive topic of privatized military operations.
“Rescue Me” 9 p.m., FX: The Denis Leary drama’s final season begins tonight with Tommy dealing with the fallout of Sheila and Janet’s “bonding.”
“Legend Quest” 9 p.m., Syfy: This show — sort of a real-life “Warehouse 13” — tonight joins a quest for the Ark of the Covenant. I wonder if they checked that warehouse from the Indiana Jones movies?
“Roseanne’s Nuts” 8 p.m., Lifetime: Tell me something I don’t know. The comedienne heads to Hawaii to farm macadamias in this reality series premiere.
“Ghost Hunters International” 8 p.m., Syfy: A Trinidad cocoa plantation host is hunted in the Season 3 kickoff. Mmmm
scary and chocolatey!
“Who the (Bleep) Did I Marry?” 9 p.m., ID: See below.
“I Married a Mobster” 9:30 p.m., ID: See above.
“The Franchise: A Season With the San Francisco Giants” 9 p.m., Showtime: New documentary series follows the 2010 World Series champs in their quest to repeat.

“Friday Night Lights” 7 p.m., NBC: The future is mapped out in a special 90-minute finale of this beloved Austin-filmed family drama.
Saturday:
“Secrets From a Stylist” 7:30 p.m., HGTV: I’m not positive, but I’d bet these aren’t going to be government secrets.
Sunday:
“Breaking Bad” 9 p.m., AMC: There are those who think this show is AMC’s best offering and others who think, ‘Hey
“Mad Men” won’t be back ‘til 2012; might as well watch.” Whichever camp you’re in, you can’t miss with this crazy good meth-fueled show.
“Masterpiece! Zen!” 8 p.m., PBS: The newest “Masterpiece!” detective, Aurelio Zen, tracks a revenge killer.
