This week’s TV picks (lots of finales)
Monday:
‘House’ 7 p.m., Fox: Season 6 wraps up tonight.
‘Best Food Ever’ 8 p.m., TLC: American street foods are the focus, but I don’t see anything here about my famous, “Texas August Sidewalk Egg.”
‘Castle’ 9 p.m., ABC: Castle and Beckett investigate their feelings for each other in the Season 2 finale.
Tuesday:
‘Glee’ 8 p.m., Fox: Neil Patrick Harris guest stars as Will’s high school rival in an episode from cult TV director Joss Whedon.
‘Lost’ 8 p.m., ABC: Not to spoil anything, but Michelle Rodriguez and Mira Furlan are listed in the credits, so it looks like we’ll be seeing Ana Lucia and Rousseau.
‘V’ 9 p.m., ABC: Season one wraps up with a chase, a dinner party and a revelation of betrayal.
Wednesday:
‘The Good Guys’ 7 p.m., Fox: Yep, that’s lauded actor Bradley Whitford (‘The West Wing’) chewing up the scenery as a washed-up, stuck in the ‘70s, former supercop with straight-laced partner Colin Hanks in this new, hour-long action comedy.
‘The Middle’ 7:30 p.m., ABC: It’s all about the kids in tonight’s first-season closer.
‘Modern Family’ 8 p.m., ABC: The plot of this Season 1 finale is not even important. What matters is that it’s the last chance you’ll get to see a new episode of the year’s best comedy ‘til next fall.
‘Cougar Town’ 8:30 p.m., ABC: The last of ABC Comedy Wednesday’s shows wraps up its freshman season tonight.
‘Law & Order, SVU’ 9 p.m., NBC: has it been 11 seasons already? Yes it has, and this one checks out tonight with a kidnapping case.
Thursday:
‘Bones’ 7 p.m., Fox: A hoarder’s on order in the Season 5 closer.
‘Community’ 7 p.m., NBC: The little sitcom that could wraps up a stellar first season with a fairly conventional love-triangle effort.
‘Parks and Recreation’ 7:30 p.m., NBC: Rob Lowe’s guest shot continues in the Season 2 closer.
‘Grey’s Anatomy’ 8 p.m., ABC: Mandy Moore guest stars in the 2-hour season finale.
‘Fringe’ 8 p.m., Fox: The much-improved, progressive sci-fi drama ends its second season straddling twin universes.
‘The Office’ 8 p.m., NBC: Kathy Bates returns for the final episode of Season 6.
’30 Rock’ 8:30 p.m., NBC: Good things come in threes, right? Here’s another NBC show with a love triangle and a different kind of threesome as Liz juggles a trio of weddings.
‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’ 8 p.m., CBS: The hunt for Dr. Jekyll is on in the tenth-season wrap-up.
‘The Mentalist’ 9 p.m., CBS: This drama’s sophomore season winds down with a really bad date.
‘Marriage Ref’ 9 p.m., NBC: Season 1 ends, but the comically bad marriages go on and on.
Friday:
‘Ghost Whisperer’ 7 p.m., CBS: They’re baaaaack
for the fifth-season finale, as poltergeists wreak havoc in a hospital.
‘Friday Night Lights’ 7 p.m., NBC: Eric and Tami navigate money woes while Riggins pitches in with the East Dillon squad.
‘Medium’ 8 p.m., CBS: Allison’s brain tumor returns in the season finale.
‘Kitchen Nightmares’ 8 p.m., Fox: Chef Ramsay checks up on formerly featured eateries in the Season 2 closer.
‘Miami Medical’ 9 p.m., CBS: The first season concludes with an alligator attack on a golf course. They should have saved this story for Season ‘fore!’
Saturday:
‘Lost’ 7 p.m., ABC: Re-watch the pilot episode in advance of tomorrow’s series finale.
Sunday:
‘Lost: The Final Journey’ 6 p.m., ABC: This series retrospective aims to help new viewers catch up on 6 seasons in two hours. Good luck with that!

‘Lost’ 8 p.m., ABC: All of your questions will be answered tonight in this 2-1/2 hour series finale. Or not. But, if not, they never will be.
‘Celebrity Apprentice’ 8 p.m., NBC: Season 9’s winner is revealed tonight.
