This city has issues with African Americans that do not speak accordingly. None of us are perfect and all should have the right to work to provide a living for ourselves, I can relate because I have a Speech impairment and it has caused me issues there is nothing that will be done because she is not the right complexion for anyone to care I wish her the best on her Law Suit after all this is America

If your a homosexual and white, your chances of a career at KXAN or any LIN station are excellent, compared to others. I enjoy watching the station's fairness in reporting. The BBB is a scam, period.
And on another note, this is to Sally Henandez, we live in America. We must you add your spanish twirl of the tongue when speaking a spanish last name? you have been anchoring for 2 years and still can't read the news right.
Also I love the promotion to speak spanish to get a free pizza. Maybe we should make the mexicans speak english to get their public assistance benefits, that should cut down on alot of things in that department.

Face it... Albeit she is a cute woman, she was a newbie dressed fully in green. She just wasn't that good and KXAN producers realized that. I smell the race card and a shot for some $$$ for nothing. I don't mean to be mean, but I really hope this frivolous lawsuit hurts her career.

... I'd go ahead and settle.
The far more serious case is the libel/defamation case. One generally doesn't attempt a suit like this unless the case is strong. The station need only prove it acted without malice and used due diligence.

Rhonda Lee's on-air personality got on my nerves. Anyone with that personality -- young, old, black, white, male, female, whatever -- would have had me reaching for the remote control (which Rhonda did whenever I saw her). I guess that puts me into the demographic KXAN is aiming for.
I can't speak to other aspects of her suit. I don't work for KXAN and who the hell knows what goes on behind those doors?
I think she's playing the race card, and I don't think it's going to work nor do I think it's applicable. The courts will see, I guess, if this isn't settled first (and it probably will to avoid publicity).
On a related note: Bring back Shawn Rutherford!

Ms. Lee was average for a young, just starting out talking head. Perhaps her ego thought otherwise.
Lee was crazy and incompetent, and Catenya wanted to move back home to another state.

The race card has been used since the days of slavery.
KXAN must have been desperate to hire a weekend weatherperson and
unfortunately they must have quickly realized Lee's hiring was a mistake
from feedback by focus groups or TV station marketing consultants.
She seemed pleasant, this doesn't win over an audience. She left
KXAN and found another job, anyway. Lee should have sucked this
experience in and moved on with her life. This suit could very well
prevent her from advancing her career in TV. Also, Ms. Lee do something
different with that hair, please, for your own good.
Michelle Valles is lucky she and the description of her car weren't the topic of a 'hit and run by a possible DUI hispanic female' story she would have had to read on the news.
She might look good, but she was a terrible TV personality. She would always stumble over her words, was not poised at all and made me turn to another station when the weather came on KXAN. KXAN has become a training/prove yourself station. Except for Hadlock, Rhode, Spencer and Wallace the rest of the team, especially the new reporters are weak, inexperienced and learning the ropes.
OH GIRL! She was the best weath women we had her in ATX. Why she be fired? Its all racialism. She probably not stroking her boss they way he be wanting. Obama's peeps gonna fix this asap! Watch out KXAN!
