Wild and Crazy: Jules Buck Jones
Austin artist Jules Buck Jones sure has a thing for nature.

In a compelling and delightful solo show at Champion of his latest work — which continues through April 16 — Jones keeps up his artistic dialogue with the natural world through multiple works on paper and an engaging video installation. (Jones dons paper animal drawing/costumes for a few journeys through an imaginary wilderness.)
There’s nothing but delight in Jones’ frenzied gestures. And his drawings erupt with a wildness that is nature itself.
“Jules Buck Jones: Animal Again”
Champion, 800 Brazos St.
