Luxe PR and Promotions Birthday Party at BoConcept
“Back in my day, there were no PR people!” says Lee Kelly, who reported on Austin’s social scene for the American-Statesman in the 1980s and ’90s.
Kristen Morado and Gustavo Colmenares
Now the city nurtures a brisk culture of promotion, publicity and public relations. In a competitive media and customer market, everyone needs a brand and a positive buzz for that brand. And each of the dozens of Austin companies that handle such branding and buzzing are substantially different.
Suzane An and Lana Chu
Take Luxe PR and Promotions. It’s young. It’s modern. And it matches the restless, many-sided society of urban New Austin.
Charissa Jarrett and Doreen Sims
The core members were schooled in San Marcos. And on Friday, they gathered to mix, mingle, drink and dance at BoConcept design and furniture store on West Second Street. Perfect location for this pretty pack celebrating Luxe’s first year in business.
Alex Leyva and Anthony Martinez
I talked with Cory Stout about the success of his Tikkr watches, with Devin Ellis about efficient socializing, with Charissa Jarrett about upcoming social events, with Anthony Martinez about the past, present and future of Luxe.
May they continue to promote Austin’s ever-evolving culture.
Correction: Tikkr was misspelled in an earlier version of this post.
