On the Austin fan ‘stalked’ by Taylor Swift

Unknown.jpeg
More on that young Austin fan “stalked” by country superstar Taylor Swift, as reported in a Parade magazine profile Oct. 24: Her name is Victoria Schupp and she lives in the Belterra neighborhood, attending Dripping Springs Middle School.

It started with a cross-country road trip organized by Schupp’s mother, Rocio Hendrix for her three children (Victoria was adopted from a Kazakhstan orphanage when she was four). When asked where in all the United States she wanted to travel, Schupp had said: Nashville “to see what Taylor Swift’s hometown was like.”

Shopping for snacks, the country singer spotted Schupp wearing a concert T-shirt and followed her, peering into several stores before surprising her in a game shop.

Swift asked Schupp if she was from Nashville, to which the girl responded: “No, we are from Austin and came here to go to the Blue Bird Cafe, where you were discovered, we were just there taking pictures.”

Fans and star talked for at least 10 minutes, says Hendrix.

“She basically just listened to us blabber about how we couldn’t believe how amazingly nice she was for following my daughter,” Hendrix says. “I was in tears so excited to see my daughter radiating happiness and hugging Taylor.”

The Austinites were in such shock, they forgot to ask for an autograph — Hendrick’s walls are adorned with 19 Swift posters — much less a back-stage pass.

“Taylor made that day the best day of my life,” Schupp says. “She is a wonderful, caring person and it’s cool that she gives back to her fans and treats us so nicely.”

Yes, Taylor is from a place that hospitable place. Nashville is a clean and friendly place. I know because I lived there and went to TSU. This is the reason that Taylor is so nice because she come from a down to earth friendly city "Nashvile."

Hey! Taylor was a guest on the Kelly & Regis live on Thursday and told the story about Victoria. Running into Taylor was meant to be!

Haven't heard her music yet, but she sure seems nice. Too bad a couple of jerks on here just had to throw in some hate. People need to get a nice life like Ms. Swift.

How bout that, a civilized celebrity.....funny thing but not funny is all the demented lefties in this country worship rappers and coked up woman beaters like Charlie (Give me your honeypot and crackpipe or else) Sheen but beat up wholesome people like Taylor Swift.

Nice job Ma'am.

Now back at the ranch.......be sure to take this country back in a week and demand the communists and Marxists including the one's all over DC on George Soros's puppet strings swing from yard arms after convictions for their looting and destruction of our great country. DEMAND IT.

My boys who are 5 and 7 years old love Taylor Swift and so do I! She is a great example to all ages! They even have a lego mini figure named Taylor Swift and they have pretend concerts for their star war storm troopers! She is loyal to her fans and I just hope she always stays true to herself.. cause that is what we ALL love about her!!!

I have to agree with all above...very very sweet of her to do that. That is what is so lovely about her - her personality, sweetness - which is what makes her beautiful. What isn't so nice is the 100% talent? I heard her sing this morning on Regis and Kelly - it was horrible. However, no sour grapes here. If she can get away with it and have the career she has, more power to her. Don't want to appear jealous!

Good for Taylor. So nice we have some good, wholesome people in music and show biz. I'm a 76 yr old NY grandpa, but now a big Taylor Swift fan. I'll talk to my grandkids about her. She's the type of star they should emulate. Don O'Brien in NY.

Maybe Taylor Swift should play Supergirl. You would hope the Maid of Steel is as nice as Taylor.

She may be a nice person. It's a shame she can't sing a note outside the studios that repair her voice.
