Entertainment Journalism Class No. 4: Facebook

For some students, this report is a bit late. They have already moved on from micro-blogging to full-scale blogging. Yet they must keep up their Twitter and Facebook reports on entertainment journalism for 10 more weeks. (We gave up on Gowalla. For class, not altogether.)

While Twitter required some adjustments, all the students were Facebook literate in advance. It took a while to navigate the difference between a personal page and a fan page. Once they got underway, almost all conquered the format, which differs from Twitter in that Facebook is inherently more visual and personal.

Forthwith, links to the working Facebook fan pages for St. Edwards University Journalism 3304, Fall 2010. Follow them all semester. I will.
