Your A-List: Best Women’s Clothing Shop
As a man, it’s hard not to envy the range of options women enjoy shopping for clothing in Austin. Besides the traditional department stores and specialty shops, as well as high-end and bargain alternatives, boutiques pop up wherever you look.
Coming in second was a certified Austin institution, By George, which ran up 16 percent. Third went to newer Strut, which tried on 14 percent.
Emerald’s, another veteran, took 10 percent, while Goodie Two Shoes stomped up 9 percent.
Following behind: Blackmail (7 percent); Parts and Labour (6 percent); C. Jane (6 percent); Girl Next Door (5 percent); and Feathers (3 percent).

By George should not be 2nd on the list. They should not even be on the list!! They pretend to be local and care about the locals, but they love to rip-off the locals! They have things that you can get at Neimans,Saks And Barneys Co-Op on SALE. As much as 60% off and they have it at regular price, banking on the fact that local Austin clients are loyal to local shops and won't notice they can get it cheaper at the big boys, well NOT me!! I'm loyal to my checking account and if you can get it cheaper go there!!! The whole LOCAL concept is so out dated and is only in favor of a small group who take advantage of local customers. Yes, be loyal to your city, but Shop Austin, not just Local.
