Will Austin lose Lance Armstrong to Aspen?
It all happens so fast. In 2008, Lance Armstrong returns to the international cycling tour. Later, Lance Armstrong acknowledges he’s having a baby with girlfriend Anna Hansen. Then, Lance Armstrong puts up his Dripping Springs ranch for sale. Now, Lance Armstrong appears to be securing a $9 million home in Aspen. (Hansen is from Colorado.)
At least the Lance Armstrong LiveStrong Foundation is still in Austin. And his Mount Bonnell-area house — dinged for excessive irrigating last year — still stands. Along with Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop and his other Texas connections. Still…

I really admire and respect Lance Armstrong. Those of you who criticize him have not run or biked in his shoes. He has been a creative leader in raising money for cancer and supports numerous charities. He did not let cancer stop him from living a full life and keeping fit. I enjoy his inspirational photos at 24 hr. fitness, as a person who never gives up. I'd just like to see some female athletic photos up there with him, Maybe Ally Kelly Davidson's (my daughter) or another female Austin fitness person. Patty Kelly

Rob- Lance's baditude gives cancer survivors not to mention cyclists and Austinites a bad name, let his foundation stay here and let him move on.

I don't know if The dude and Beau are rich but they sure are obnoxious. I'm assuming they've taken that temperament and have become the best in their field as well as spokesmen for cancer survivors everywhere.
Way to represent Texas Beau and dude! You really dinged Lance with those insightful comments.

Don't let the door hit you in the *** Lance. BTW, they love rich obnoxious Texans in Colorado, so you'll fit right in.
