Your A-List, Best Beauty Salon

index_center_img.jpg
Wow. Zow. Visible Changes has expanded its customer base. The Houston-based chain with two Austin mall locations won the A-List vote for Best Beauty Salon with a whopping 57 percent of the vote. Nobody else even came close.

Snatching second with 31 percent is a smaller salon group with three Austin locations — Avant. Everybody else, mostly one-off Austin salons — Jackson Ruiz, Birds, Aziz, Salon 505, Ann Kelso, Bradz, Joie de Vie and Vain — took 3 percent or less of the vote.

Looks like it pays to locate where the traffic allows.

Write-ins: Innu, Milk+Honey, Topaz, Two Wild Sisters, Urban Betty, Viva

I have ben a customer at VC for over 12 years in Austin and have nothing but great customer service. Called by name as I walk up to the counter and they have my ticket ready to go back for shampoo.
Great Job VC for your award.

I don't understand why the receptionist’s at visible changes are rude and have the audacity to raise their voice at a customer, when one is simply asking about the working hours of one of their hair stylist. I usually over look small incidents but the customer service get worse every time. I have been a customer at Visible Changes in North Star for over two years; I enjoy the work of my hairstylist but the treatment I receive by everyone else is not acceptable and it makes me not want to go back. Today I was screamed at by a receptionist and when I spoke to the second receptionist she rudely answered my question.
