Weekend Out: It Gets Serious
Brace yourselves. It may flirt with 100 degrees outside, but the fall social season — informal as well as formal — is in full swing. Here’s what Out & About wants to do this weekend:

It's admirable how you find the time (and energy) to attend all of these events every week. Thanks for letting us know about all the great events going on around Austin. I wanted to attend the L Style G Style party, but had to go out of town. It sounds like you had fun. You can be an inspiration to me when I want to go to an event and then chicken out at the last minute.

Don't you love how the snarkiest comments are made anonymously? Still. In 2008. For the record, I didn't slap the County Line, nor did I rave about other BBQ joints. Also, the "Surfer, Dude" review was a goof. Like the movie.

This is one of the main reasons why I love this city. I was already planning on going to the Ballet Austin Community Day, but this blog makes me looking forward for the weekend even more. Besides studying, there are so many opportunities to enjoy your leisure time here. Thank you for emphasizing that.
