Wednesday entertainment closings
Entertainment: We’ll update what’s open and what’s closing in the Austin entertainment world throughout the day.
Closed Wednesday: Blanton Museum of Art, Flamingo Cantina, Ransom Center, UT-PAC, Dougherty Arts Center, Carver Museum and Cultural Center, Austin Museum of Art, Arthouse at the Jones Center, Mexic-Arte Museum, Austin Lyric Opera’s dress rehearsal of “Waiting for the Barbarians,” D Berman Gallery, Doc’s Motorworks, Guero’s, Southside Flying Pizza, FronteraFest at Hyde Park Theatre, Starbuck’s, Athenian Grill, Trophy’s.
Open Wednesday: Dobie Theater, Beerland, Momo’s, Opal Divine’s (all three locations by 2 p.m.), Jo’s Hot Coffee, Paramount Theatre, Little City, Dominican Joe, Texas French Bread, Home Slice, Fran’s, Speakeasy, Lambert’s, Cuba Libre, Alamo Drafthouse, including Austin Film Society’s screening of “Born to Lose.”
Going on as planned Wednesday-Friday: Jeff Daniels at Cactus Cafe (Molly Venter will open), “Waiting for the Barbarians” opening at Bass Concert Hall, Chuck Norris Presents World Combat League at the Erwin Center.
Canceled for Thursday: Watergate panel at the Ransom Center.
