Butthole Surfers schedule two nights at Scoot Inn
Cancel your Halloween plans, pay up all life insurance premiums and get your dealer(s) on speed dial… The Butthole Surfers are back in action.
Austin’s noise/punk/whateveryouwannacallit legends will terrorize the east side - pity those poor Justine’s customers - for two shows at the Scoot Inn, Oct. 29 and 31. Each show will have a special twist; the Oct. 29 show will be centered around the band’s 1987 classic “Locust Abortion Technician” which will be played in its entirety along with lots more, while Halloween night show will include The Meat Puppets as openers.

Does the fool who wrote this have a clue about Austin’s East Side? Justine’s is miles away from the Scoot Inn. Just another example of Statesman “writers” trying to seem oh so hip and only showing how lame they are.
