Learn to play Spoon without learning to play Spoon
Spoon’s ongoing domination of all things rock music continues next week, when four of the once-Austin, now-all-over-the-place quartet’s songs become available for download in “Rock Band.” Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and Wii gamers alike will be able to enjoy a four-pack of songs including “Trouble Comes Running” and “Got Nuffin,” off this year’s “Transference,” perennial favorite “I Turn My Camera On” and infectious groover “Don’t You Evah,” off “Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga.” It’s pleasant to imagine, men, women and children worldwide attempting to replicate Britt Daniel’s distinct warble, but what gives with the lack of “Kill The Moonlight” tracks, Harmonix and MTV Games?
At any rate, the songs will be available for download on Tuesday, June 1, along with P.O.D.’s “Alive,” which we’re sure everyone is just as excited about.
