Reports: Gang Starr’s Guru in coma following heart attack
Numerous Web sites including Billboard.com are reporting that rap artist Guru of the hip-hop/jazz fusion group Gang Starr is in a coma following a heart attack. A message posted to the Facebook page the rapper shares with producer DJ Premier reads “Keep Guru in your thoughts and prayers and let’s hope that he pulls through and gets well!” The 43-year-old artist is based out of New York City.
