Other Music hosts an East 7th Street throwdown with XX, more

(Pictured: The XX)
Ultra8201 dropped the lineup for Other Music’s SXSW Lawn party at the French Legation and it’s a doozy. The shindig goes down from 1 to 7 p.m. Thursday and Friday March 17-18 and it’s all free. Highlights from the lineup include Britain’s ultra buzzy XX headlining on the Hill Stage on Thursday and Cambodian pop specialists Dengue Fever followed by unlikely underground soul sensation Mayer Hawthorne & the County on that same stage at 2 p.m. on Friday. Oh yeah, and the Friday 6 p.m. headliner is some dude named Thurston Moore from a little 90s rock band called Sonic Youth. Good stuff. Haven’t seen an RSVP link, but we’ll pass it along if it comes across. Full lineup after the jump.
Incidentally, Thurston Moore is also playing an official SXSW showcase, a solo set at Red 7 at (oddly enough) 8 p.m.
