White Demin play a Red Cross awareness gig, release new album Oct. 20, hit the road

So White Demin’s next show is “the Red and White Bash,” a gig to raise awareness for Red Cross and their role in Austin. Check them it out at Antone’s Sept. 23 with Matador records signees Harlem.

White Denim’s second album, “Fits,” has been out in the UK since June 22 on the Full Time Hobby label, but won’t see the light of day Stateside until Oct. 20, when Downtown Record will release it on CD, download and LP. Downtown will also rerelease “Exposion,” their stateside debut, on CD and debut it on LP. “Exposion” was released last year by the band and Transmission Entertainment, who have since bowed out of the record business.

The band is slated to play Mohawk Oct. 24, then heads out October 31 for a 19-show tour across the Midwest and East Coast.
